I need to bump up the size of my bullets a few thou. I know I read how to do it on hear but I can’t seem to find it. My Whitney Kennedy 44-40 has a very oversized bore and I would like to use the mold I have.

It might be cheaper in the long run to have a mold maker just up scale your favorite bullet to the correct size. The problem with "bumping" up a bullet diameter is more than just one thing. First off, the small diameter will change before the driving bands change because it is weaker. Then there is the increased wear on the lube sizer. Those things are not cheap these days.
As an alternative, consider beagling the mold or lapping your mold or a different mold of similar form. The next alternative is to build up the bullet diameter by powder coating.

I might just get a custom mold made. I don’t want to change my existing mold as I use it for other guns. Maybe powder coating, never tried that before
Bumping a "few thou" increase on a 43 cal boolit is impossible without swaging dies.

I don't think even JB Weld or duct tape can fix that.
If powder coating won't do it, you'll need another mold, or maybe beagle out the one ya have.

I have done it nicely but it's better with softer alloy. Use larger sizer, correct nose punch and good leverage...measure as you go to determine how much force is needed.
I also used a swaging press to move banged up .312 hbwc up to .314s with sharp bases.

First try using a soft alloy and powder coating with the mould you have .
I don't powder coat but it seems its a simple "shake and bake" process .
The soft alloy (like 1 in 20 Tin-lead) will allow the bullet to bump up and the powder coating will add size to the boolit but take care of any leading .
If you don't want to powder coat them ... go soft and use a good boolit lube .
