scopes and bags are cool, but palm rests 'n' irons RULE!
Whelp, after some experimenting and such using the 9.3X57 dies to load my 9.3X72R cartridges, things are starting to come together.
First bunch of shots were low and right, so I adjusted the rear sight a bit to hit center.
At 50 yards offhand, with the front bead sitting in the rear sight, the shots were low as you can see.
I then held the front sight right on top of the rear, and things started to hit better.
This will kill a deer at 50 yards, but I have to chronograph the load now.
The bullets I am casting come out as 290 grains, twice what the facctory jacketed bullets weigh .
I am hoping for aroubfd 1,600-1,750 FPS.
The bullets are clear powder coated and no lead fouling is present after 40 rounds

My final testing was done today, 34.5 grains of IMR 4064 runs the unchecked and powder coated 293 grain
bullets right around 1,740 FPS according to my labradar, so it was a very successful load development!
The bore fouls very quickly due to the pitting, but the final group was good.
the two on the left were offhand at 50, the other were off my elbows.
If I do anything else it will be with black powder and paper patching
