Which stock production passenger vehicle has the greatest range?

    Folks,

Which stock production vehicle with an interior currently available in the US has the greatest range? (I'm thinking it may be a hybrid.) Let me know.

    Enquiring minds . . .

My Ford Escape can do ~450 miles on a tank if I keep my lead foot under control... which never happens, to much fun when the turbo spools up and it scoots.

Your post said "vehicle" and they are vehicles .

The Chevy Silverado 1500 3.0L Duramax 6 cylinder inline is doing over 30 MPG and it has a 28.3 gallon tank so that about 849 miles at 30 mpg. A buddy has one in he is getting 32 to 34 on the highway doing 75 mph so that would put him at 934 miles at 33 mpg.

Well then, if you must have an interior, my 2015 Subaru crosstrek would get 43 mpg if I did my part and drove like an adult.
Only a fool would attempt it, and God help me I am that fool.

Butzbach, this is one of the most straightforward, and well communicated questions I've seen, and the answer is straightforward too. I don't understand why so many here have completely failed.

As has been pointed out by some, I actually believe a truck is going to offer the longest range. I do not know which one, but tank size is going to be a huge factor, and trucks can carry way more gas than cars can.

my truck will make it from limon colorado to wichita kansas on one tank of fuel, my little car it takes 2.5 fill ups to do the same. the truck holds 50 gallons the car about 10 so the car is actually cheeper but the truck has better range.

I can get close to 600 miles on my Subaru legacy if I keep it 65 and under and keep it all highway miles. I usually fill it up around 550. No sense in taking chances.
