SB 10 should cut 30tpi with a 16t stud gear and a 60t on the gear box with any idler in between and the QC set to 16tpi. My Logan 11 does and the two lead screws should be the same pitch. I know this because I too needed to build 310 stuff. Specifically case adapters and sizing dies.

There is a brand new looking set marked buy it now on evilbay for $49.99 . I think that's less than Lyman's last price.

IIRC, the last MSRP from Lyman was about $75 for the handles and another $75 for each die set. It's no longer the "entry level" equipment I bought for around $15-20 per complete set back in the '70s! As I discussed recently with my friend Dale53, this is no longer what I would recommend for someone starting to reload... it's become a specialist's tool now.

That lathe isn't useable, yet, so it's academic for now. I do have two other lathes that work, and are change-gear lathes, so it's just a matter of buying or making the gears, as needed. The Atlas will, IIRC, already cut 30tpi threads, don't recall offhand if the HF Mini-Lathe will, but I think so. Pretty sure the Smithy will, too, once I get it back together.

    So now I’m Crazy!
Was Machiavelli crazy? Not enough so you would notice it! Did he have a plan? Yes, he did have a plan.
What is the plan? The plan is big. It is giant. You might even consider it a monster. Yes, a monster of an amorphous plan.
Start with 310 tools. Add a measure of Lee Loaders. Now add a sprinkling of Lyman top punches and dies. Sprinkle in some Star dies and top punches. Obsolete calibers? Of course! Now you can see the shape of things to come.
Now we need a monstrous amorphous plan addendum to add CNC!

I don't consider "crazy" a pejorative. It's better to be crazy than stupid, after all. Remember: Semper Gumby! Always Flexible!

Got the parts washer working and leak-checked last week. Put the engine block heater on it day before yesterday. Yesterday I added the recommended sealant around the edges of the heater. When I get home from the doctor today, I'm going to plug it it, and see just how warm I can get a tank of water-based degreaser. Then I'll know if I need a second or larger heater.

Plans. We don't need no stinkin' plans! Besides, life is what happens while you're making other plans.

.32 Colt Long & Short are on my list. I've got Stevens rifles, a 1915 Favorite, and a Crackshot #26 that need those, and center-fire breechblocks. Reloading dies, brass swaging dies, cherries, molds, and whatever else it turns out I need to make.
