Couldn't find one or buy one so I made one

For some reason I wanted a 12inch 1858 remmy. No reason just wanted it. Couldn't find one in store or online or in a forum so I made one. Took the barrel off, took the blue off case hardened it and made a new pair of stocks for it...

    I think it's pretty

Only problem is I have to make a replacement gun case and holster now..
    Always something huh?

Haven't shot it yet. The epoxy on the handle is still curing. I hope to take it to the range this week

Very nice, the only thing I would change would be the length of the barrel. I am not a fan of long barrels on a revolver. But that is just a thing of mine and nothing wrong with it really. james

Good looking spalted wood on the handle - is that Oak? Or what wood? Is it stabilized? Good job all around.

Excellent job, I'm interested in hearing about how she shoots.
