Steps to convert a ss rimfire to a .32 S&W

This is kind of ambiguous but at the risk of getting flamed thought I would pose a question to the masters.

I really would like to have a Single Shot Falling Block in .32 S&W, or H&R should the pressures not be too great.

So things, for example, like a Savage 44 project pop up from time to time.

I'm not worried about the wood, as it is in my skill set, but the conversion itself.

I understand that I would have to have the barrel bored to accept a larger caliber, and with that I'm "assuming" that the chamber end would be modified by the same machinist to accept the extractor, but you know how it is with those assumptions- how does a novice considering this sort of conversion know that pressure and amount of metal left in the barrel after machining?

Can the receiver be converted to rimfire to center fire? My guess is that it has been tried before and there is a fine system worked out, perhaps someone that specializes in that sort of thing. Or is there a model that would be a simpler transition???? I am awash in ignorance.

    And the cost, ballpark???

Any advice / guidance would be appreciated.

I'm working my way towards converting a couple of Stevens boys rifles to .32 Colt Long & Short.
