Hello friends.

It is with deepest sadness that i must report Emery Stluka (mazo kid) died suddenly on 9/24 of a cardiac arrest. i was contacted by a member of his family tonight.

Thank you Emery for all of the late night message exchanges and kindness you have shown me here on Colt/CastBoolits, and in our private emails. I will cherish the knife you gave me, and will always remember where it came from, your heart. We will see each other again brother, and I know you will understand. I know you are with the father now.

Emery leaves huge footprints to fill. He was one of the most generous, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic people I ever met (online) and was always willing and able to share information about his passion for shooting, reloading, casting and all that go with it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and he will be truly missed. Godspeed, Em.

So sorry to hear about Mazo Kid (Emery)...my condolences to his family.

I have had several conversations with him, as well as many great deals in S&S with him.
He was a great guy, and will miss him.

I’m saddened to hear this. I didn’t know him real well, but I had some dealings with him, and as a result some conversation. I thought he was an outstanding fellow. I have a cartridge box he sent me, just an empty box, but neat looking, in with something we traded. I liked that better than whatever it was I bought. I thanked him for it and he said he thought that I’d like it so he included it.
