    finnish 28/30 scout scope base

    as the title says; i have a finnish 28/30 (mosin) . will the rear sight take the same base as a russian mosin for a scout scope??

    I have Two Mosin 28/30s
    I bought a scope base for a M-39 from Bad Ace Tactical.
    It is a Scout style mount that you need a long eye relief scope on.
    The other M 28/30 I Sporterized and made my own Side Mounted scope base using Angle Iron and Weaver base off a Marlin 336.
    On the second rifle , I also had to make a new bolt handle to clear the scope.

    Nope it's a totally different sight base. Perhaps a sight base intended for a Finn 39 would work.
