Are the new Lyman 358665 flat nose plain based or do they have a bevel? Pics show flat but I read somewhere they are beveled.

30hrrtt,
I have a 4 cav 358665 mold. The bullets do have a bevel at the base but a very slight one. It's a great shooting bullet.

Anybody else use this mold? I'm trying to decide between the Lyman 477 semi-wadcutter and this flatnose in a 4 cavity mold.
I just got one last week and it casts like a dream. I have never had a mould drop boolits out so easily after opening the handles. All I did was wash in dishsoap with a toothbrush and rinse with hottest water the faucet would provide. Dried with a cloth and then took an Outer's steel brush to the vent lines and cavities to get the oxidation off. Cast perfectly after preheat on the hotplate.
All measure .360 and weigh within .2 grains of each other across all 4 cavities. Every mould will be different, but I am very pleased with this one I have. Havent shot any yet, next trip out is planned for 2 weeks from now.
