    Before taking it apart, I would get a spray can of Remington lube, spray it inside and run the lever several hundred times.

    Have 2 Rossi 45 Colts …. Use Ideal 454190 bullets … one has close to 15,000 down the bore since 2002 shooting Cowboy and zero issues chambering the rounds
    Recommend to the OP to check the rounds overall length to determine they are less than 1.60” … about 1.57” is better in a lever
