    Redfield 2-7x32 viewfinder

They offered me a Refield 2-7x32 scope, with reticule 8. My big question is whether those scopes came from the factory with that reticule. And the other question is whether it supports the rollback of the .338 win. mag.

    1. Who is "they"?
    2. What is reticle #8?
If by "rollback"- you mean recoil, yes the Redfield will handle it. Your post is kind of vague, no offense intended.

    .

With all due respect, the scope is a Redfield Widefield 2-7x32, not a "viewfinder"

Vintage Redfield scopes were stout enough to easily withstand the recoil of a .338WM

I've never heard that a Redfield reticle was called a "#8" - AFAIK, all the vintage Redfield reticles had names

Most were duplex-type (thick posts toward the ends of the reticle with thin wires connecting the post tips) reticles, some with a range-finder scale in the field of view - also, some were post & crosshair reticles or dot reticles. (IIRC they offered 7 or 8 different reticles)
