    I ordered two kilos of Swiss yesterday. Some places over here are already raising thier prices and it’s not as easy to find as before. Goex going out of business will effect availability of all powders worldwide. Less supply always means higher prices.

    Goex only makes black powder. Smokeless powder supplies won't be affected by the closure.

    BP is the only powder needed on this thread (muzzle loading)

    Schutzen has increased it's production level. Next shipment expected in around four weeks.
    The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

    That's good, but they don't have the network Swiss does, at least not around here. I've never seen it in a store, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone shooting it either.
