Majorly bummed out today. Iohan died.

Among my many exploits, long distance cycling has it's place. Hopping on my bikepacking rig or getting on the mountain tandem with my wife has always proven to provide a satisfying experience. Pedaling over a mountain pass on a loaded bike or tandem gives a feeling of accomplishment.

One kindred soul in the cycling community was Iohan Gueorguiev. My favorite youtube video of his was riding the Tour Divide in Winter. He had spent the summer riding up to the Yukon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa_28YltsuY

I found out this morning that he died back in August but the cycling community just was made aware of it today.

It's always a bummer when a kindred soul or friend passes. It's always a bit bitter to learn of it well after the fact.
