    Gunshow!!!

I was able to get my little fellas to go to a gunshow with me today - I feel like I scored pretty darn well!!!
I got this model 6 Remington along with 4 boxes of 32 Long and 1 box of 32 Short rimfire and 549 pieces of 32-20 brass (500 brand new, 49 fired cases) and 3 pulled pork sandwich meals for a bit less than 4 Benjamins.

Nice score!! Any plans or possibility of converting to centerfire in the future. Or is it possible to obtain rimfire 32's these days?

I've got a Model 6 in .22, and it's my all time favorite guns for enjoying "boy's life". A pocket full of shells and a few ground squirrels, and I'm transported back to a happier simpler time. jd
It seems that people who do almost nothing, often complain loudly when it's time to do it.

No, I've converted one to 32 S&W already. I have quite a few rimfire cartridges and use reloadable brass with acorn charges as the primer. I have also been reloading my spent cases so I think that this one will stay as is.
(No, the loaded ammunition is definitely not obtainable in recently manufactured condition btw).
Have a peek at Steve Blanchard's YouTube posts about the subject as well.

Holy cow, it must be time to go to bed!!! Thanks for the correction. Sorry didn't mean to derail the original post. Pretty nice score at the gunshow, almost like getting a free gun to go along with the brass and ammo.

Update! Went back yesterday, the couple that sold me the rifle apparently found the remaining 32 RF in their possession and passed it to me as part of the deal.
Looking forward to shooting these and figuring out what to do with the blanks!!
He also threw in these 44 caliber j words, I am intrigued by the 370gr behemoths, and definitely will use the 210's.

That's a real nice seller. He could have sold that extra stuff on Gunbroker for a pretty penny!
