WTS: Howell conversion Cylinder - 1858 Remington 44 blackpowder to 5 shot .45LC

Almost new conversion cylinder for Pietta Remington 1858 44 caliber blackpowder to .45LC 5 shot cylinder. This cylinder is 2.0155 long.

I will throw in either a black or brown leather Triple K spare cylinder holder with this conversion kit so you can safely store either cylinder that is not in use.

Will it time to a 6 shot? That 32 caliber is tempting.

Aaron - the Howell 45 Colt 5 chamber conversion is made to slip into the 6 shot cap and ball revolver and it indexes with no issues. I have them for both my Pietta and Uberti '58 Remington NMAs and they work great. I have 8 different Howell Cylinders for a variety of pistol models as well as a Kirst - never had an issue with any of them. Hope that helps.

This is a great buy and addition to your pistol. I love cap and ball, but it is a blast to shoot 45 lc. Lots of cowboy loads available.

Is it blued or stainless or ...? Got pics?

I've got a Pietta 1858 in stainless is why I ask. Shoot, do they even make it in stainless?

Hello Sir, it is blued, finally got the pics to load just now on the first post. Of course, the pinto look is pretty classy if you ask me!

I will throw in either a black or brown leather Triple K spare cylinder holder with this conversion kit so you can safely store either cylinder that is not in use.

Looks virtually new, great buy but I will have to pass. Thanks for posting the pics, anyone know if they make it in stainless or am I out of luck?

yes Sir, it is also made in Stainless for both Pietta and Uberti. Thank you for the kind words. I have corrected my ad, I believe this cylinder is for a PIETTA because it is 2.0155 long.
