    Noe 359-93 rn

I just recently picked up this mold. Mainly because I'm bored and wanted to try some lightweight boolits in 9mm.

I've found some load data for bullets in this weight class so I'm set there. But I'm wondering if anyone has gone down this path before????

    Success or failure?

Bullets will strike high and slide velocity will be slow.

I tried the lee 95 grain powdercoated sized 358, seated short enough to pass chambering test. My best results were with power pistol gunpowder.

Adjustable sights or red dot solves the shooting high.

Slide velocity can be helped with the right springs.

I have LEE's 238-95 RF and MP 360-93 molds. I like them both better then the Lyman 358242.

Hey burnt fingers what propellant powders are you gonna try for this and what type guns are you basing the load workup for?

I'm curious if you have the same result I did from rifles (the newby shooters did not want to stop shooting it haha) my rifle is 38 special/ 357 mag.

If it doesn't work for you (the 380 bullets) they make really cool slingshot ammunition

I am hesitant to go down a path that requires me to modify my firearm to make it work. That said, I have loaded 9mm, 90-ish grain, boolits from a 358-242 and they worked in my old S&W 39-2.

Ramshot Competition and Universal will be the two powders.

I'll be using them in multiple handguns and carbines.
