Adjusted my Mosin Nagant firing pin.

I had the rifle out yesteday. A few shots i got a puff of air in my face. It always had a deep strike. These were light cast data loads. It's at .084 now according to my calipers. It cleared the .095 slot on the tool. But hit the .075 one on the tool. The pin is in as far as it will go.

If you got a puff of air in the face try a slightly heavier powder charge, not enough pressure to make the brass seal the chamber.

Had a MN out the other day thinking about tinkering around with it. Mine would do palm of the hand groups at 100 yds. with the Lee 185 and Trail Boss. Shoots like a 22 with a round ball.

If the primers weren't pierced then it is good to go. Also it is as beemer said.

    What load?

    FL or fire formed cases?
