    Little kicker

Started working with a little NEF 20 gauge single shot, shooting some slugs. Thought it had a fair amount of recoil, not bad just more than I expected. Just weighted it - 4 pounds 4 ounces, light little thing. Factory slugs do make it jump on the bench. Starting the process of working up round ball loads. First one of these that I have reloaded for, previous slug gun was an 870.

Single barrel shotguns kick a lot compared to others, because they are usually light weight. I once had an old single barrel 12 gauge it definitely had a lot more recoil than my 12 gauge 870. It was always fun to shoot though.

You can add some weight in the stock to help with that.
