I have a Marlin #336 .45-70 with a 4x scope. I'd certainly be up for 50 or 100 yd. competition with either a Lee 405 HB CB or a ~465 gr. FPPB one [which I cast] from a LBT mould.

Got ya added to the list, just let me know which category. Right now I got ya added to the 45-70/scope/100/91-110. That means your scope is zeroed in at 100 yards and your "trajectory" is in the 91" to 110" inch drop range at 300 yards

In case I forgot to reply already.
The categories are split based on bullet trajectory out to 300 yards, even if your scope is zeroed in at 50 yards.
Here is an example:
30-30 Winchester Model 94. Scope and will be zeroed in a 50 yards, your category is:
30-30/scope/50/30"-40".
30-30 = Cartridge
scope = scope used
50 = 50 yard zero (adjusting elevation for a different range puts you in a different category)
30"-40" = bullet trajectory out to 300 yards with scope dialed in at 50 yards.
30-30/peep-receiver/21"-30"
30-30 = Cartridge
Peep-Receiver = Peep sight mounted to receiver
21"-30" = Trajectory from 0-300 yards is in the range of +.90" from 0-50 yards and -27" from 51-300 yards
All trajectory categories are based on Winchester Super-X Deer Hunting Ammo with JSP type and heaviest bullet when available.
This can put several people with the same cartridge in several different categories based on the trajectory in that category.

For those that are interested but have yet to check out the google docs roster and categories, here is an example of the categories.

Had some fun with the 225 yard gong....well.....sort of! Lets just say it lived to fight another day.
Still good groups at 225 yards considering!!

My shooting skills were lacking all day but I had fun and collected some data.
Not my best groups but...
The same 25.8gr of Reloder 7 in the Uberti Winchester 73'. Velocities increased slightly in this rifle, slightly slower in the Marlin. Longer AOL of 1.601"
Attachment 288737
Open sights Marlin 1894CB (sticker still says Winchester 73)
25.8gr Reloder 7
1,308 fps Longer AOL of 1.601"
Not much room between 25.8gr and 26gr...especially with the seating depth and amount of crimp applied as can be seen in my results.
Attachment 288735
Open sights, Marlin 1894CB
Whimpey loads but easy to shoot...however, to darn expensive now days...lol
Attachment 288736
Shots after easing up on the amount of crimp applied with the Redding die to the 26gr of Reloder 7 charge. Velocity dropped slightly. Should also remove, which it did so far, a bit too much pressure. Should be back in line around 13,500 psi

Savvy Jack those are excellent results IMHO. With open sights.....well above my pay grade.

Its been months since I bought the book, "How to scam people online". It still has not arrived yet!
"If the human population held hands around the equator, a significant portion of them would drown"
I have to assume on some information because I do not know......
Category - Open Sights
Class - Basic, assuming "iron sights"
Sub-Class - 41-60
Assuming line 9 is 1"
Assuming (adjusting 12" with curvature of photo)
Assuming 35 shots
Should look something like this....I think...

Where do you get those yellow targets savvy jack? They look like they work well with open sights.
Would .308 Winchester count? I'd probably end up using a Henry "Long Ranger". <shrug>
