    Extra wiping??

Just picked up 20 pounds of this extra wiping lead. Does this mean even more tin?

    Thanks

I don't know how much tin is in your lead, but this is plumbers lead for sealing joints. Not used much today. Google it under "lead wiping demostration". There are videos too. There is an old muzzleloaders saying-"When in doubt, shoot it".

Solder recovered from wiped joints in plumbing usually runs about 30% tin. Yours might be a little more. Nice score.
