    What is in this alloy

I have an ingot marked "BLATCHFORD LINOTYPE REPLACEMENT". Does anyone know the composition of this alloy?

It is most likely a tin replacement alloy to be added to the Linotype alloy to freshen it for better casting properties.

It was called "plus" metal by my boss. Supplemented the tin and antimony in remelted linotype.
