    Accurate 31-215E

    Anyone try this boolit? I bought this mold a while back for a 300BO AR pistol I built and couldn’t get it to pattern any better than an open choke shotgun. Due to component availability I shelved the gun but I was thinking about giving it another shot.

    A fast twist rate will give problems with longer boolits. Trying to go with a plain base design at higher than pedestrian speeds in a fast twist rate barrel is even more “challenging”. If the boolit is dropping from the mould at the .308” shown on the drawing adds even more of a challenge.

    I was loading subs and the barrel is the faster of the two twist rates that were available. (I don’t remember the #’s)

    I have this mold but had Tom build it so that it drops at .311. Been sizing them down to .310 and .309.

    Are you using it in 300 BO? Details on gun?? How does it perform???

    ETA: I sized to 309 and 310 also.

    ETA#2: I looked at your website and it looks like you are selling these boolits. I’d be interested in hearing feedback from your customers.
