    Top Punches for my Lube-R-Sizer

Hey Guys, Just getting going on casting and lubing.
Received my new Mold From Accurate. Only took 56 days from order to ship. Thought that was pretty good.
its for my 38/55 (.378-250 gr FN, non gas check)
Question: it came with the top punch for my Luber. Will the accurate design top punch work in my RCBS Lube-R-Sizer? I assume it will. Looks like I can use his top punch on all FN bullets. Where as RCBS and Lyman all make a specific punch for each bullet. There is no wall around the flat plate. Fortune Cookie 45 talks about removing the wall around most flat base punches so you don't have to buy multiple punches for FN bullets.
    Could use your expertise.

    Yep, it'll work.

Most modern generation dies & top punches interchange from one brand of sizer to another.

If they look even close in a catalog picture to the ones made by whoever made your sizer- they'll work.

Most Lyman and RCBS (and probably Lachmiller too) sizing dies and top punches will interchange freely.

The top punch I use 99% of the time in my RCBS Lubamatic is just a one inch long rod ¼" in diameter, with a flat face. It works fine with round nosed boolits cast from ACWW. Softer alloys may need closer fitting top punches.

Use the top punch supplied with the mold that is why they included it.

Thanks for the Info, I'll remember that for my RCBS Lubamatic, not lubasizer.

That wasn't the point, what I was asking was can it be used with all FN bullets.

Yes , a flat faced punch can be used with ANY boolit with a flat spot on the nose , RF , SWC , TC , full wadcutter ...and to be honest I've used a flat punch on 50 RN boolits when I was in a hurry ... left the slightest flat spot on the RN boolit and worked perfectly !
It doesn't matter who made the mould ...you can seat any makers boolit with a flat punch .

I too use a flat top punch on almost all bullets. It lets the bullet find the center of the sizing die.

Thanks, that seems to be the general opinion.
