    Many products are assembled in the USA, but made in china.
    It's a way to get around paying higher import fees.
    Majority of appliances are like this.

    There is a manual can opener , the brand name is Made in USA ... I swear ... Made in USA ...
    I bought one ... I rate it a 5 star and 10 . SWEET opener !

    Before that I bought a China made special , I opened one can and it broke on the second can .
    I returned Chinese and bought Made in USA ... had to order it because store ONLY carries Junk Brand (china) ... China is killing us with poor products and the prices aren't that cheap .
