How many of these have you seen?

Here's my unusual little .22 squirrel getter. How many PAV model 50's have you seen laying around?

Ha-ha, It's the only one I've ever seen too. I picked it up at a gun show and had no idea what it was, but I had to have it. The little I've found is that it's a Czech target pistol, made in 1950 has a 9 1/2" barrel and was never imported to the USA. It was evidently stylish in Bohemia back in the day.

Looks like a nice simple design that could be made in a modest hobby machine shop. I'd like to see the trigger mechanism. Most of the gun could probably be made on a chinese mini-lathe. That would be a cool project.

You are right, it's avery simple design, the knurled knob at the back of the reciever is the cocking piece and hammer.

Here is a similar one ... Model 70. It shows the pivot lug and has a different cocking handle. Looks like a very simple project (if you have an old rifle barrel to use)

Looks like a slightly more modern version, they are fun and surprisingly accurate.

If you and your girlfriend are off to the coffee shop to pop off a few rounds, you should dress properly for it.

Have you shot it? That's a really cool looking pistol. I've never seen that before. It's cool like a Whitney wolverine.

I like the updated model 70 more.
The 5 shot magazine has really got me in.
I have seen pictures of them a couple of times on the net.
    Beautifully simple.

If you ever disassemble it and photo it, I'd love to see the photos. Especially the trigger-sear parts.
    Thanks.

Today is the first time I have ever seen one. How's the trigger pull? Did they have anymore; as I probably hit the same gun shows you do?
