WTB/WTT--30 cal, .311 cal j words or .452 300 grain FN for 35 cal j words

I am loading for my 35 Whelen and looking for .358 J words. Looking for light weight kacket bullets for deer but not picky. I have 180 grain .311" 180 grain core locts, 180 grain .308 Sierra RN, and lee .452 PC,GC, boolits, and pewter to trade....or?

Was hoping for spire type points for better feeding, around 200 grain bullet weight, give or take. I tried Speer 180 grain hot cores and haven’t had decent accuracy with the powder combo I used with them yet. The super performance 200 grain ammo didn’t shoot worth a darn either. Remington tested the gun and sent back a 100 yard, SUB MOA group, target using 200 grain Core loct factory ammo. Was hoping for 200 grain hornady, Sierra, or Remington Core locts. I’m open to see what weights anyone has to offer. Wish Nosler still offered the ballistic tip.

Here are some of The cast bullets I have available to trade to for Jacketed 35 cal.
these are .430 lee 300 grain cast. Powder coated and hornady gas checked. Brunel hardness was around 15 last I checked. Color coated within 1 grain of each other...







I also have hollow points in lee .430 and Lyman devastors casted around 10.4 BH. All powder coated and hornady gas checked. Sized ant .430…




I also have some devastators in 15.4 BH. Alloy so 80/20 COWW and pure plus 15% pewter.

Lee HP 240’s….





I also have lee 300 grain flat nose .452 bulets. Hardness around 15 BH, powder coated, and hornady gas checked, sized at .452. color coated within 1 grain like all the others…




I sold the mold a while back that’s why I had the writing over these examples….

I sent out a 104 of the 80/20 devastators yesterday. One hundred of them all weighed within one grain before I clear PCd and hornady GCd. The other four might carry a grain or so in weight and I variously colored with PC.

I would say between the two,250 grain offerings I would think hornady would be easier for me to get more it they shoot good. I haven’t seen Norma bullets for sale in a long time. So I would say just send sone 250 grain hornadys as fillers.

I have a box of Hornady #3505, 180 gr. .358" SP. Would trade them for the .311 Core Lockts.

I could use some Seirra 60 grain .243 HP jacketed bullets also a lee .490 ball mold for my 50 cal muzzle loader as well.
