    Oh, this would be so tempting right now if I wasn't already working on a different project rifle (P14 Enfield action in need of a new barrel).

    The Criterion replacement barrels are also very good, if pricey.

    I couldn’t imagine spending $400.00 on a New #4 barrel.

    Good barrels, popular with military rifle shooters here.
    New old stock enfield barrels are pretty much all gone these days, see a few pop up from time to time but they are not cheap.

    These barrels are very good they are .312 the criterion barrels are. 314 and not as good. I have built rifles around both.

    I have an LW barrel in 30-06 on a Mauser K98.
    Could not ask for a better shooter.
    Failure is not an Option
