    Very nice! You will enjoy it. Mine are a 7.5" 3rd gen, a 7.5" rebuilt Bisley and an extra cylinder for my 3" Sheriff. I like Specials and have 3 more Smiths and a custom Blackhawk. Just don't leave it in the safe. Shoot it. A lot.

    I bought mine in 1978 - looks just like yours but it’s been shot a bit more… They are great revolvers.

    The 3 people a man must be able to trust completely are his gunsmith his doctor & his preacher ..,his gunsmith for his short term health ,his doctor for long term health ,and his preacher incase one of the others mess up.

    Had a NF once. .428 groove and .433 cylinder mouths. Used the 429421 boolit sized to .433". Worked well.

    Had one just like it that I bought from a friend that owned a pawn shop. I was in there one day looking at the guns he had for sale when I asked him” Don’t you ever have anything but junk?” He pulled the Colt out and I paid him his asking price ($450). That was in 1990 and the most I’d ever paid for a handgun. I gave it to my oldest son when he graduated college.
