    Twist on a Model 70 .225 Win

    Hi,

If anyone knows, or can tell me where to look, for the twist rate on a 1964 Model 70 in .225 Winchester (22” barrel) I’d much appreciate it.

    Cheers

I believe all 225 Winchester rifles are 1:12". Maybe different if someone wanted to shoot heavier than factory bullets.

I had better have a look at mine later - 1:12" is what I remembered, not measured.

You can measure with a cleaning rod, tight fitting and tape for rotation and tape measure, will confirm.twist.
