    Guilty.

15 years ago, I happened upon a $65 Ruger 10/22 which I snapped up as a foundation for a Volquartsen Orgy in the future. I made the mistake of dragging it along to one of the Burrito Shoots just for fun, with an assortment of 22 LR ammo. HIJO LA, that ugly duckling can SHOOT. The exterior is a bit weathered, but the innards are in showroom shape and it runs perfectly on any ammo. Best of all, since it looks ratty on the outside--the rotten kids and their offspring haven't ripped it off. The prior half-dozen 10/22s I've had all "grew legs" in this manner--this one, not so much. Ugliness hasn't hurt Glock sales one bit.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.
