I use grease groove in all mine , no lube cookie as there is enough lube on the grooves , no paper patch molds and no reason so far to buy one , all my lever actions also use a grease groove no cookie .
Not loading for the bench or shooting for nothing but my own enjoyment , so the grease grooves fit the bill at the present .
Plan on hunting this coming year with the 50-95 lever , no blow tube as I do not plan on shooting that many times .
