    S&W Pre-War Frame

On a Smith & Wesson, can a post-war trigger and hammer be fitted to a pre-war frame?

If you're capable of fitting a trigger and hammer, why couldn't you make them from scratch? A hacksaw and an assortment of drills and files would be enough, though it would take some time.
