I saved the link, checked in once in awhile and stocked up on powder I wanted. This link only shows powders in stock.

Got an email from PV yesterday about Alliant powder in stock. They did have 2400 (don't need any atm) at not so terrible price (I think $200 for 8 lbs jug), some other powders like H335 were in stock as well. I'm good on powders, can't wait till I can replenish my primers stock Can ride this year and maybe next but that's about it.

I received that same email. I immediately went to PV only to find the entire website had crashed. 2 hours later it was still down. Tried this morning, and it worked, but the powder is GONE!

Natchez shooters supply has Imr 3031, Western powders TAC, and H335 in stock right now! Also Shooters World Precision in 8 pounders. Got some more I just can’t remember them all. 3031 is on sale also. Limits 5 per customer, per day. Good luck!

Prices are reasonable....it is a good sign.

Nearly put an order in for HP 38 but will wait. I am good on pistol powders for at least 5-8 years. Hoarding my pennies for Varget or 4064.

All the powder in the world won't do anyone any good without primers. I'm thinking that's why we are seeing supply returning. Reloaders who still have primers are finally stocked up on powder and those that don't have primers are sidelined. Will be interesting to see if we get another run on powder once primers start showing up.

I got some Bullseye from PV right as the site crashed. The 8 pounders of everything were all gone within a minute of that e-mail going out but I managed to get 2 1 pounders. I really would love to know the REAL story on primers. They are certainly showing up on Gunbroker. New stock too, not old stuff. I think the manufacturers are sending them right there and will continue to do so as long as people continue to pay outlandish prices for them.

    Primers were back ordered.
They are filling those orders and the buyers are selling them on gunbroker.

Also some manufacturers are selling direct now on powder and primers

Interestingly I found a few primers at my LGS a couple days ago. They only had CCI small rifle magnum primers. They had a limit of 500 so I bought 500. The price was high but not outrageous.

My experience tells me there are times when SR Magnum primers are called for.

Our local Scheels has IMR4227 in stock but at $41.99 a pound. They have a lot of different flavors of VihtiVourhi but, nothing else. They have been getting primers in as well. All CCI. They had LP for $65 a brick. They had SR for for $50 a brick and LR Benchrest for $110 a brick!!! No regular LR or SP.
