Yes, I 'listen' to what Larry has to say about shooting cast. One reason I got as far as I have. Still want to do better.
I won a case of soda at a range in Germany one day. I and a classmate were at the rifle zero range for his infantry platoon (I was a tanker). In between groups the plt sgt pulled out some German coins and bet us we couldn't hit one. Keep in mind the POI on the zero tgt is not the same as the aimpoint. Suffice to say, the infantry plt sgt lost to a tanker lieutenant. He kept the coin and I found out he used it in training, something like, 'If that Dumb Axx Tanker can hit this thing why can't you grunts do it.'
We're close enough to the border that we could use Canadian quarters. You could probably get Mexican pesos if they still do coins.
