    Loading slugs question

Hi all I got a question about some lee cast 12 ga. slugs that I don't recall how hard they are. Does it matter if these are not pure lead and are COWW's? I cast these from a borrowed mold and it has been long enough I don't recall. Thanks for all help. Mac

Dirtshooter: They would be fine either way if fired from a cylinder or skeet choke in my opinion. Gp

Thanks guys, if they are soft pure lead can those be shot from a tighter choke? I think an improved cylinder may be the biggest choke I have. I don't shoot many slugs and this is the reason for the questions, don't want to mess up a gun barrel or my body!!

No proven difference with alloy. The plastic is the weak link in this example. Improved cylinder is fine. I wouldn't fret to shoot them from modified either.

Slug diameter is undersized. Should be ok.

Lee Key drive 1oz . Pure is better.
Slugs release from the mold better when pure.

Slug expands to the bore diameter when fired.
