Berry's .357 125 grain FP in 9mm?

Hey folks. I've been using the Berry's .356 hollow base 124 grain FP in 9mm for years with perfect success, however these are hard to find right now and I'm out of them. I did find the .357 125 grain version though. Sorry for the dumb question, but these should work just fine in 9mm? I have shot bunches of .357 and .358 lead slugs through my pistols with good success. My usual load with the .356 Berry's slugs is 3.8 grains Titegroup at 1.055 OAL. This is the pic from the Berry's site, looks almost identical to the .356 version:

Slug your bore in the 9mm. That will give you the answers you seek.

I used them already in a Browning Hi-Power. They shot quite well. If I didn't cast, I would not hesitate to use them again.

Just for perspective, a piece of loose leaf paper is .004” thick. So the difference is 1/4 the thickness of a piece of paper.

I use the .357 dia. in HI Powers with the oversize bores, and .356 dia in the 357 Sig. No issues at all feeding with a 38 Super either.

Ok, got a bunch ordered. I suspect they will do well in my Ruger PC carbine, which does great with jacketed but lackluster with boolits so far.

Report back on them. I have one 9 that only likes ball. I sold one that shot better with my .38 boolits because I hadn't slugged it.

How's the tractor running? I have a premassey HF TO30.

I sure will! The Fergie is doing great. Reconned the cylinder head this year and she runs the best it has in the 14 years I have had it. The valves were leaking something awful, like 50% according to my tester. She would still drag the old Dearborn plow through the ground though!

When I purchase plated bullets, it's always Berry's. Specifically, because I prefer the .357 diameter. I am aware of no other manufacturer that does. Also want their triple plated ones, which are recommended for carbine velocities.

The .356's are what I normally use but unobtainium right now. I found the .357's at pre-covid prices and figure it's a safe bet, so ordered a few boxes. I'm planning to also try them in the Marlin .357 carbine.
