38/56 Winchester Express.
Hold Still Varmint; while I plugs Yer!
Not BP, but .33 Winchester IIRC was derived from the .45-70 case
The ENEMY is listening.
HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
For a rimmed cartridge, the 33 WCF, showed up in the 1886 Winchester and might be the smallest. I have always believed that the 284 Win might have started out as a 45-70 as the head diameter is the same, turn off the rim and neck down to 7mm gives the 284 Win.. I do not really believe it was a ' BRAND NEW' creation. ? ? ?
