Hodgdons BL_C in 30-06

hi , can you please assist me.
I have several cans of Hodgdons BL_C
powder , I would like to this powder in 30-06
GI military brass using 150 & 175 gr
full metal jacket bullets in my m1 garand.
can you please tell me how many grains
of powder can use ??

I had a similar question about using 8208 for my cast in 30-30, and I got advice to ask Hodgdon. So I'll extend to you the same advice. Go to Hodgdon.com and click on contact us. Send them your question, I did and got a reply the next day.

Never had any luck with Ball C in .'06, max charge leaves too much free airspace in case and ringed chamber in my Garandf trying to approximate Ball M2.

Do you have BL_C or BLC_2 powder? It matters. Following is extracted from an online article about the History of BL_C and BL_C2 powder/ Note the stipulation on the DIFFERENCE in reloading data:

Hodgdon purchased 80 tons of the surplus powder and started selling BL-C in 1949; by 1961 the 80 tons had diminished by the pound and keg, so Hodgdon replaced the milsurp powder with a newly manufactured version, BL-C (Lot #2). Hodgdon claimed the new version was cleaner-burning than BL-C; burn rate is close to the original BL-C, but BL-C and BL-C (2) are not identical and data between the two are not interchangeable. ......

BL_C has not been available commercially for several decades; but there is some still out there and appears in estate and reloading liquidation sales.

Note also; the data linked in post #3 above by Mr Harmless is for BL_C2 powders.

I am using a large lot of lake City GI brass, as well
as Twin City, slat lake and other GI brass.
I have several thousand pieces mostly once fired GI 30 -06 brass.
