    Computer help

    Looking for computer help
    Firefox
I did something wrong with the display color.
I was playing with the font size and color, and I messed up the font color.
It's now white, and I can't see anything is some places.
Can't even see the settings fonts to change it back.
Only way I can see some of it, is to highlight where I think it is, and some of it comes out.
    1) How do I restore the default font and background color????
    2) Is there another way to change it with Win 10 settings????
    Help me!!!!!

Open a new Firefox window, and type in "about:config" and hit enter. Click the button saying you accept the risks.

At the top of the page to the right of the search box, check the box that says "Show only modified preferences"

After that, if you don't see the settings you're looking for, try typing "font" or "color"

At the far right of each setting is a button that will reset it to the default value.

    I typed "about:config"
Have to highlight to the right of the box and see the "show only modified preference"
I don't see the box to click.
Even if I highlight the whole area.
I really messed this thing up.
    So stupid.
    I can't even do email.
    Nothing comes out.

    I think I got it.
Can see the screen and fonts now.
It was the arrow in the box on the right side.
Moved over it by mistake and saw "reset"
Clicked on all of them and I think I back.
    Thank You Very Much.

My recommendation? Load up the Brave browser.
It has a built in ad blocker and most importantly a tracker blocker.
It runs faster and all around just works better. It also uses all of the Chrome add ons.

Sorry about that, I had to go to bed early last night because I got picked for jury duty this week. The judge makes me get up earlier than work normally does.

    Glad you got it fixed.

I would think that the people who program these things, would make it so you can't do something like that.
But I guess they thought no one would be stupid enough TO do something like that.
    Except me
Everything is back to normal now.
    Happy again.

Best option, download Linux Mint current version to a USB stick. Plug it in, wipe windows off the hard drive, and enjoy!
