Please suggest is there any program to determine who called me? Last year I received a lot of calls. Banks bugged me with offers to take a loan, medical centres invited me to free procedures, and scammers from the "bank security service" assured me that I had to tell them the card's PIN code. I started ignoring many calls from unknown numbers and receive sms online. Still, I wondered if it could have been an important call. What if it's a potential customer or a courier calling to bring me order from an online store?

If it's important they will leave a message. I would say 90% of the calls I receive go unanswered. The trouble is that they have figured out how to leave a blank message on my answering service and I have to go in and make sure it is not someone I need to talk to and all I get is dead air.

Got several calls from the IRS saying if I sent in what I owed I would not be taken to court. I told them to send me a letter and never heard any more.

We dumped our landline several years ago, only kept it that long as our alarm system used it. Over 99.5% of the incoming calls were solicitations for something. I’ve been retired for well over a decade. Most days my cell phone winds up sitting in the garage or my vehicle, sometimes for days. I figure if it’s important they’ll call back or leave a message.
