Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.
Core molds are very easy to make. Since they have no grooves they can be plunge cut (drilled) If you can make mold blocks you can just hold them together with a clamp and drill them out with the proper sized drill (#2 drill bit is about the right size.)
I have a 9 cavity i made works great, makes a 58.5 gr bullet with pure lead. I'd be happy to loan it to you cast as many as you need and send it back.
pm me if interested

I carry a gun because cops are too heavy too tote

Just get one from Richard Corbin and be done with it? Unless you’re looking for mold cavity style then you’ll probably have to get it custom made.
I just looked into the Corbin and rce type and they look very awkward to use compared to a standard mold.ill see if I can get a Lee from BT Sniper or make one.
Thanks for everybody's help.

Advantage of Corbin core mold is weight selection by adjusting the volume of the mold cavity by screwing the set nust up or down.
I cast 30, 45, and 50 grain cores to make 40, 55, and 60 grain bullets using 22LR brass (22LR weighs about 10 grains). I also cast 60, 65, 70, and 75 grain cores for use with longer (trimmed) 17HMR and 22WMR brass made into jackets for 70, 75, 80, 85, and heavier .223 bullets.
A core mold made from a Lee or other type mold block does not give the ability to adjust for lighter or heavier cast cores. One can always size the cores down to various lesser weights using a core die (squirt die) to adjust weight; but reducing weight down more than 2 or so grains is a pain in the behind in my opinion.

The advantages of the core mold is that it doesn’t need to be mount nor clamp in a vise. The downside is that it tends to stick in the mold with pure lead this require a bit of energy to drop the mold. The upside of the piston style core mold is that you can quickly eject mold instead of hitting the handles. There are adjustable core moulds, as I have lyman core molds that are fully adjustable for core weight. I imagine in this day and age you can get an adjustable mold given if you’re willing to pay up the extra fees associated with it.

Hmmm I hadn't thought about the adjustment being an advantage.corbin says the mold is held in a vice and lead pored into it.it sounds strange

You can always buy a blank mold from Lee & make your own. The 2 cavity blanks are readily available but the 6 cavity not so much so. It's best to use a milling machine to make the cavities, but a drill press will work okay. Get the drill as precisely centered as possible so it perfectly bisects the 2 blocks. Remember that your cores don't have to be perfect like a bullet because they will be uniformed in the core squirt die. The good thing about the 2 cavity molds are that they are cheap enough to make several to keep handy & cast the weights you want.
Here is a thread that I posted about it.
