    Vintage Reloading Calculator

    Growing up and learning to load by watching and bugging the older men there was a tool that was common with a few of these guys. The Powley Computer as shown. Sort of a slide rule device but very dependable and accurate especially with earlier common powders. But still usable today if a person takes the time to carefully study speed and density of the newer powders. Anyway I’ve had several along with the ballistics booklet and chart. For years this was my go-to calculator for lots of Ackley’s improved and a few other wildcats with sparse load data.

    It looks kind of like Lee's powder dipper, slide powder chart. Quite handy.
