    WTB Rimz Moon Clips

I would like to buy some Rimz Moon Clips for my 625.

I have the metal ones, I'm looking for the plastic Rimz Moon Clips for range use.

If you have some you're not using, I'm interested.

Please send a PM with what you have and how much money you would like for them.

    Regards - Slughammer

I'm pretty flexible. I want them for normal range trips. I tend to only take the 38's for wheelgun fun; I can just shuck 6 into them, 2 at a time. Shoot, unload, repeat.... It slows my ammo burning pace to where I like it.

The 625 sits at home; the steel moon clips were great for competition, but she's retired now. I just want to take her out for oldtimes sake.

I've used moons in 1917s, 25s, 26s and 625s. The steel ones work a treat. The plastic Rimz held the rounds much to stiffly and were a royal PITA to load into the cylinder. If you really want them, I'll dig them out and send them to you.

I've used Rimz clips in my model 25 and 325 for years and found them to be great. They are easy to load and unload WITHOUT tools and have not have had ANY problems with loading into or out of my cylinders.

One must allow for the possibility that the ones I have had for years are not Rimz, but some other brand of molded plastic.

Or, I see they are made in two designs, one for the classics (1917, 25, 26) and up to the 625-3 and one for the 625-4 and later. Who knows what I have, but they were very balky in a late 625 Mountain Gun.
