WTB: Mold for .31 black powder revolver

I picked up a nice little .31 caliber black powder revolver and am looking for a way to feed it. Anyone have a ball or ball/conical combo mold they are willing to part with? Needs to be .323 or so from the balls that came with it.

    Thanks!

    Lyman/Ideal 31950 is an option I believe.
    Thanks.

You can purchase a 00 buck mold from Lee that works great for that little revolver. Occasionally you can find a 5 or 10 pound bag of "buckshot" in that same size using the same "pure" lead formula.

They are a "hoot" to shoot, but don't expect any velocities much over 580fps. They were "vest pocket" pistols in the old west and evidently worked well for the poker players for up close and personal disputes over "who won"!

What revolver do you have? I might have a spare FIE .31 cal mold.

It’s a CVA Remington 1863 pocket replica. My 0.311 mold for my rifle is too small, so it’s going to need at least a 0.320 I’m assuming. Let me know if you do, Darth.

The Rem .31 is supposed to take a .323 caliber ball. I tried the .321dia balls that DixieGunWorks sell. A bit small for all but one chamber.

Happiness is a Warm GUN & more ammo to shoot in it.
