Now that I have a 6x45 barrel coming in I need a 6x45 cartridge gauge.
Now that I have a 6x45 barrel coming in I need a 6x45 cartridge gauge.
I bought one directly from LE Wilson. They ran a batch some years ago and still had some in a drawer. if no one has one LE Wilson may have.
So, can I ask what a "case gauge" does that a dial caliper cannot do?
It's more like a Go-No-Go guage. Either the case/loaded cartridge drops into it or not. I use several of the full length Sheridan gauges that actually have a slot machined out so you can see if case was sized right. https://sheridanengineering.com/
OK, I do that with the gun's chamber with the striker removed.
If I am correct the Lyman 223 rem. gauge also works with the 6x45. Does anyone have one of these?
