Whilst reading blogs within this section, I came across some comments regarding melting point of our casting alloys. I later found this web site most informative, listing many commercially available lead alloys listed by the Kester Solder Company. It's going in my "Casting" binder for sure.

I have different pots for the 4 different alloys I use the most. The liquidus temp of each is marked with a Sharpie so I can use the same PID to set casting temp, usually 100degF over liquidus.
