    Monstrum Scope On Enfield

Hello all, just wanted to talk about a great experience I had with a new scope on my enfield. I had a old burris 2.5x scope on it but just would not hold zero. I wanted something that would look kinda old school. I found the Monstrum scope on amazon and liked it. It was not illuminated, old gun wouldn't seem right with one. I ordered and installed and tried it today. Was very clear and seem to be built well. Sighting in was super easy and it tracked as it should. Within 6 rounds at 100 yards I was shooting groups. Shot a couple around 1 1/2 which is what my cast load shoots. Its a 150gr lee with gas check loaded as dropped at .314 with 12 grains universal. Moved on to 200 yard steel 8 inch gong. Hit 9 in a row until bolt in gong got hit and had enough of being shot. I was very pleased with the performance and clarity of this cheaper scope. Click image for larger version.

Which model is it? I have one of their 3x prism scopes on my 9mm AR15. Got over 4500 rounds through the gun with it and it has held up fine. I first had it on a 8" 9mm ar pistol but then put it on a 16" 9mm ar.

Thanks. The scope mount is the bad ace tactical mount. Its no drill and tap and is super solid.
