I'm old and not computer friendly...a little help with my auberins pid

I have an Auberins 2352 pid. I hooked it up as directed and it worked well......well I burnt the thermocouple thingy and had to by a new one.(can't find directions now) now I need help in starting the pid back up.....built it 5-or so years ago. I turn it on and it flashes numbers. Any help on reprogramming would be nice. I only need to set it to kick on at 695 and shut off at 700-705.

Generally when it's flashing numbers it means the PID is not "seeing" the thermocouple (TC). Might just be a bad connection. Can't remember offhand if a reversal would do that. Usually a reversal would be showing the opposite of what you'd expect , declining readout when you know it's getting hotter.

PM me with your email address and I can send you a little "cheat sheet" I made up for my 2352 unit.
