Has anyone used 454 casull brass for any other caliber, shot cartridge or other firearms use? I am forming 454 casull brass for shot in a 45 colt which the neck needs to be reduced to 456 or so to fit the chamber to see if it is worth while to hold more shot or?
Nope, no experience with that but I would think it's easier to make some cardboard overshot cards for
45 LC brass. Maybe a light crimp then glue 'em in with white glue or silicone (I've done 12ga shotshells
that way).
I have almost 4 dozen casull brass I picked up at the range, was gonna see if anyone wanted to trade
but don't think they're worth the postage back & forth. Think I'll just cut 'em off for 45 LC.

tew45 Just started looking through my dies to see if I had anything that would do just that. Haven't got far with it. Sold my Casull and still have a fair amount of 454 brass. Gp
