    WTB/T for .227"-.228" neck expander

I need a .227-.228" neck expander, one appropriate to a .22 Savage Hi-Power or similar cartridge that uses .228" bullets.

An M-die would do, or just the plug, or one of the various other dies that do the same thing, or even a plain Jane .227" pull-through expander plug from a conventional full length sizing die, as long as it does .227" or .228".

If you have one to spare, please let me know your price+shipping (to 27713), or I could probably trade you another M-die plug, depending on what size you need.

    Thanks!

Maybe a bigger MDie plug could be spun down to the right size. I went down from .30 to almost exactly .243 before my caliper went off scale and I wrecked it with like .005 to go. It was really good till the end. I kept going and went to .22 but haven't tried it

Still hoping to buy one, or trade for it, and not have to make one.

NOE makes expanders of any size and dimension you can imagine; his "expander" dies replaces the Lee factory "flare" in their proprietary die.

Lyman says late fall for my M die. All the sites are out and estimate 6 months backorder, thats on top of the last year. I am spinning an M plug down again, or trying. I know of a good GS with many used dies in all calibers that might have yours, if you would re-buy a whole set. Feel free to send #. Its a little drive, not local and I only go every couple weeks
